Care? Poem by Tasha Young

in the past you were always there
over the years you starting to change as the same as me
but i didnt as much as you did
we all started to have to watch you carefully as you started to worry us
i start to wonder if you still care
you start to be secretive and acting out and disrespecting our elders
finding things out about you in the worst ways when we have to witness ourselves
i see that your starting to go down the wrong path disturbs me wish this wasnt happening
then contact almost doesnt even exist except every once in awhile
do you even care how this effects your loved ones or how it could effect someones health
care...does this emotion still exist in you?
