Caritas Creek: Science Camp Poem by Marie Alexandra R. Ibarra

Caritas Creek: Science Camp

It’s now the end of Science Camp,
the day when we go home.
But now I start to miss –
the people I cared most.
I made new friends from Day One,
and were friends for the week.
I really don’t know what to do,
some couldn’t help and wept.
It just didn’t feel the same,
on the bus and on the road.
The tears and emotions just came out,
there’s nothing else to know.
But most of all,
wherever we go,
we’ll always remember that we’re not alone.
Because we’ll look back at our Sixth Grade year,
knowing that we’ve made the best of friends.
