Carnal Opus: The Author Of My Happy Ending Poem by Arnie Hicks

Carnal Opus: The Author Of My Happy Ending

wild and careless,
like the opening chords of spring,
her sultry innocence lures and seduces.

unspoken whispers
of hunger and offering in equal measure,
leave me spellbound and breathless in the warm silence of clarity.

eyes unveiled and endless,
look - without pretense or shame -
past the thin coils of inhibition and convention.

sensuous and generous,
the lips that taunt and tease
rise up to touch the very depths of passion's pinnacle.

an opus to carnal cravings,
bathed in the mists of sighs and promises,
she is the burning light in a dark sea of monotony.

from gentle caress
to the smoldering intensity of primal abandon,
she is the author of exquisite beginnings and happy ending.
