Carols In The Park Poem by Leaking Pen

Carols In The Park

Christmas carols are sung in the park
And chorister's candles lit the dark.
Santa Claus ready to make his mark
With his leading reindeers from Noah's ark.

Children lined up in a frenzy long queue
Photo with Santa Claus confirmed their joy.
Whispers and wishes are each a promise due
Good behaviour heralded the fate of each toy.

Jingle bells, Silent Night and Deck the Halls
Fa la la la rehearsed the Christmas choir.
Neon lights outside shone on the snowfalls
Hallelujah bells rang from the cathedral spires.

Leather gloves, red scarves, and music scores
Conductor guided and conducted a harmonious core.
Red ribbons and wreaths decorated proud doors
While helping hands lit the skies from shore to shore.

Fireplace mantels decked with candles and socks
Toy gifts wrapped what children desired and want.
It's midnight after all and the grandfather's clocks
Chimed, a reminder Marleys' ghost came back to haunt.
