it was a good day.
I've kept it in my pocket.
a reminder because
we mustn't always live
in a way that razes us,
you and me.
we can grow and allow
the past to pass away
and live for today
because today is the
only way that we can
absorb the present.
this life, today, is a gift
to be opened. and
just like any joyous ocassion
it is to be celebrated!
so let today be your celebration.
do not let your mind go adrift
worrying about bills to be paid
or work that isn't had.
life is not all about the bad.
give it up. give it over.
because today God has given you
the present. so embrace it,
because once it is tomorrow
you can never replace it.
