Cast Iron Lock Out Poem by stewart green

Cast Iron Lock Out

Rating: 5.0

Blue green jewels sparkling
Reflecting back my cars lights
As they walk to the beautiful gate

Curls of streaked hazel
Bouncing as if it never happened
But it did

And I can’t forget
The warmth shared by two
Restaurants, lagoon and stables

Now you’ve given it to another
And the sound of that gate
Will forever close in my face.

So vividly captured, it is alive with feeling, well done.
