Catch It While You Can Poem by Dom Wisperez

Catch It While You Can

Layers of moister
with the blazing ball above
the balls radiance,
peering through the Cracks, the Holes.

Beaming down on us we see the rays
eluminating cloud edges.
The beauty of it:
yellowy-orange lit layers of fluff
the bright yellow hazed beams,
like lazers of life
lighting what is ours.

I watch as it disipated,
to deaper colors of bold:
yellows and oranges to indian red.
The rays slant inward
through the escapes
Soon sunset will fall,
And I will leave too.

Not bad, though I would like to see you write about the beauty of darkness as well. And wouldnt it be great to share these feelings of a sunset with the one you love? ?
