The day I met you I felt in love
with your thug style.
It always seem to me like you where
the one to sweep me off my feet.
I felt in love with you not because of
what you can do for me, but the way
you show me that you want me.

How can you act like you don't
know me while you are in the streets.
What must I do to get you to understand
that I need you here by my side.
The man who sold me a dream while
he was on lock down is back on the
streets ready to roll again.

Caught up in the streets thats what
you are, everytime I say these streets got
you in the mix.
You tell me I am talking stupid......
What a fool i must be to still be by your
side.
To tell me to put my life on hold for the streets,
you must be a fool.
But I still remember that being in the streets made
you lose me.
