I’ve been in love before tonight,
but never has love seemed quite so right
Darling you’ve made me see the light,
I must thank you for that
you have restored my sight

Holding you in my arms this way,
listening to music softly play
I only want the chance to say,
I’ve never felt before
I’ve felt a change today

Watching the sky turn darker blue
breathing the air round me and you
Elegant moonlight on your face
you’ve given me the chase
and now I’ve caught up

Now you must think I’m a fool in love
and possibly even naïve
But I know for certain it’s me you love
