Celebrate Poem by Mathews Ninan

Celebrate

We met each other, by chance,
In the corridors of time
To share a few moments of
Happiness and bliss,
Sorrow and grief,
Togetherness and separation,
Love and hatred,
Anger and compassion,
And then some more.

But now the time has come for me
To depart to celestial heights,
Grieve not for me, my dear,
Nor shed a tear,
But celebrate the moments
We shared’nd continue
The celebration of life
We started together.

Go forth my love
Not in grief, but
Secure in the belief-
This parting is no end
But, a new beginning.

My time has run out
And now, I needs must go
There's no escape from
The scythe of fate.
Fear not, my beloved
I shall await thy arrival
On the other side
When thy time too is done.
