Challenges Poem by Tessa Eichhorst

Challenges

Every day I hope to be the best
version that God wants me to be.
I put on my smiles and hide my frowns,
hoping the devil isn't lurking around.

I go through the day trying to safely
unwind, then the devil appears trying to
stray my sight.

They may be little or they may be large,
each challenge can come with a problem and
not good cause. I just pray at night when I
lay down my head, God forgives my sins and
loves the heart in the girl I am.
