See that girl
She lies on her bed
Head throbs
Bones ache
Arms Spread
Palms face up
Tired
Music blasts
But it can't drown out that song
A song of hate
Seeps through her door
Fills her room
No escape
Trapped
It speaks of anger
Of hate
Of pain
Of sadness
Of grief
Depressed
Parents yell
Boy cries
Screams exchange
All these words of hate
Loud
A fist takes over
A mouth takes over
Items break
People break
All of night and all of day
Pain
A river flows from her eyes
Rolls off of her face
They never stop
They cannot end
They just keep flowing
Grief
She tries to get up
She wants to stand
She can't sit up
No one gives her a hand
Nobody's there
Alone
She falls to the floor
Head bows
Arms high
Where are you God
No reply
Unloved
Heart is stabbed by a sword
He laughs and twists it round
Feeds off of her agony
Off of her pain
Satan
She can't get up
Stuck to the ground
Tries to scream
Yet no sound comes out
Soaked in her own blood
Paralyzed
She tries to make believe
This isn't reality
It's just a dream
Everything is fine
Everything is great
Lies
All hope is gone
All faith is left
She can't take this anymore
It's just too much
She lets go
Giving up
She is done make believing
Done shedding tears
She lays there
Arms spread
Palms face up
Waiting
He kneels down over her
Pulls out the sword
She cries
He picks her up
Holds her close
God
Restored and refreshed
She stands next to him
Faces the door
But a song seeps through the door
Fills her room
Never ends
She steps back
She is afraid
He takes her hand
Holding her breath
Closing her eyes
Hand on knob
Arm falls back at her side
Her breath releasing
Eyes opening
Eyes fixed on him
He smiles in reassurance
Squeezes her hand
And together they take a step forward
Together through the door
My song suddenly ends
Finished
I lie down my bed
Arms bend
Pen in hand
We smile
And together we write a new song
Changed
