you made me crazy about you
you made me crazy to be without you
you made me feel loved
you made feel secure
we fit together like hand to a glove
my heart a hardened stone
is alive and a beating drum
that beats and speeds when I am alone
it slows to a decent beat
when you are with me
you gave me courage to meet challenges
to move out of my comfort zone
even for a good friend I would not have budged
but with you by my side this bull moved
the stubborn crab released its imagined slights,
its unreasonable view of itself
a joyful, confident person has emerged
and is here to stay,
the days are brighter
the nights calmer
sleep is perfect and full
and its all because of you
i hope we remain together till we both are old and grey.
