It's been a month since I came to know you
A month since we started to befriend each other
A month since we started sharing tears and laughter
A month since my life begin to change
I am new in the community
A community where no one knows the real me
Afraid of criticisms, afraid that you'll reject me
I intend to be aloof avoiding everybody
Minute became hours as hours became days
Different people, different personalities I began to face
Bound together in one place
Bound together giving each other a warm embrace
Lots of things happen in just a week
Gone door to door with the Word of God we speak
Catechism to the children using different gimmick
Indeed no bore moments because it's God we seek
Different things have changed emotionally
Some felt conscious on their maturity
Some grow spiritually
Hopefully all out grow holistically
To the brothers whom I got along with
To the brothers who make our nose bleed: D
To the brothers, from the youth you take the lead
My deepest gratitude to your good deeds
To my new friends from Barracks
I admire your creative minds and fancy acts
In our minds and in our hearts you made mark
Hope to see each other again, hope you'll come back
To my new friends from the parish
Thank you for the friendship you have furnished
And to those wonderful moments we cherished
Hope our relationship won't vanish
To the priests of the parish, Father Nonong and Father Niño
To the newly ordained priest, Father Cris
My deepest gratitude for your support and care
Whenever we need you, you're always there
Friends are found everywhere
Best friends are found when you're at your most embarrassing moment
True friends are found when you're at your darkest moment
Forever friends are found at church because they are God's gift.
