Chaos And Mayhem Poem by Mustafa Marconi

Chaos And Mayhem

If I should leave this world today
This the song I wish to play
The truth that lives inside my heart
Judge not the souls who failed to start
If I should part this realm today
These the acts I leave to say
The love that I have shown to thee
Can grace the eyes to blind to see
The waves have washed the corpse ashore
The countless dead who’ve slipped and drowned
Swallowed alive by turmoil and trials
Too few ups, and too many downs
The wolves have intensified their onslaught
With sermons that caters to apprehension and fear
Their pretense has served to embolden the outsiders
To stand firm in our journey and be thankful we’re here
Oh lord have mercy on the children
Who pray the guidance almighty you are
All is not heaven in this kingdom of justice
The mayhem and chaos grows near and afar
