Chapter Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Chapter

Didn't know you
Like I wanted to
and the lies
held me hostage
recognized the truth
that had freed us two

friends they come and go
Don't think I want anymore
Satisfied with the ones here
A foundation built for years

chapter closed, the biggest hater
pretend well but not well enough
to have been found out
there was a problem
I'd later solve it
you were phony
So undeserving
you weren't worthy
Exposed your story
Chapters to the pages
of this novel have been
read from beginning to end
and once I closed the book
Won't be taken a second look
