Chapter Whatever Poem by Paula Glynn

I just read and read chapter whatever,
For books are my life, my work, my passion,
And I just read for me: not some literay fashion,
Books are in abundance and are there to be enjoyed:
I certainly enjoy my books,
And I go to the library as soon as I finish a pile,
Because I read so much, and I need variety,
And I will continue to read chapter after chapter,
The way some people watch TV programme after TV programme.
Books are in my blood and books keep me alive,
I devour all kinds of stories and I will always,
Because reading is something I am addicted to.
