Cheap Perfume Poem by Not Long Left
Cheap Perfume
Although the perfume was cheap
and despite the fact that it
made your skin smell
of dead flowers.
It had managed to cling onto my
jumper long after you had left.
The man on the stall
on Roman road was right
when he said
it's an unforgetable smell.
