Wallet is there,
phone
keys
pulse too

Heart, head and liver
there
and only suffered minor
damages
I wouldn’t be without
anyway

I wake up in my own bed
and not in the hospital
or dead
The woman next to me
IS a woman
though I will check
again and do her
a second time

Just to make sure

Poet's Notes about The Poem
