Cheering Her Too



An uphill climb to nearest tree
a very large shade for me to stay
overlooking wide swath of property
on my right is river that go to bay
clams boats passing by; normal day
except a big boat dog barking at me

i will catch a nap while wind breeze
dream a little for my lonely princess
she could be asleep or watching afar
washing everything from dishes to jar
then complains of headaches and pain
so cute so lovely i know she's reading
