Chemotherapy Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

Chemotherapy

Rating: 5.0

Chemotherapy such a difficult word to behold
We know in our hearts and souls we do not want to be told
Cancer comes in so many forms we know
If we have it, we then feel so low
With this treatment can it be beat
Knowing this therapy, we have to repeat
As medicine progresses by leaps and bounds
Many of us just do the rounds
From doctor to doctor looking for a cure
Alas, we know all must endure
So if you have family or friend
Please just love them right to the end
I wish some day a cure would call
Before then I fear many will fall

Even though this is a sad write, you have done it with complete brilliance, my mum works in the Chemo ward in my loca hospital an more and more types are being helped, but still to little compared to how how many losses there are. Brilliantly sad poem
