Cherish
i shall remember you
like a song unfading through the years
i shall treasure every word of kindness
you have spoken, to ease an aching heart.
i shall recall the songs you sang
the gentleness of your voice shall live on.
and, everything you did from your heart,
will always be a part of me.
for you have shared your joy
to a lonely, bewildered heart.
