Cherry Blossomed Wings Poem by Alex McCullough

Cherry Blossomed Wings

Cherry Blossomed Wings,
That's my new gift to you,
Never falling from your memories,
I'll always be with you,
Hoping that the times could stay like this,
Not caring what happens in the end,
I just want to watch over you,
For this moment in time, is my heaven.
Walking across the deserted school field,
I wish that you were here with me,
Standing on the roof, watching the starry sky,
I wonder if your watching it too,
Laying on the grass by the silent river bank,
I hope you have a comforting night,
Watching the children play in the park happilly,
Remembering when we used to be like that,
Standing before the long bridge before me,
Wondering if I can cross it without you,
A pink feather floats from behind me,
Reminding me of my promise,
That I made to you,
Cherry Blssomed Wings,
The gift I once gave to you,
Now fall from these lavender nights,
Onto the soft blankets of our hearts,
Painting our dreams and hopes,
In a light that will shine through the stars,
Like our love does.
