Chez la p’tite vieille


Tous les après midi boulevard saint germain
Je suis au comptoir aligoté avec un vieux copain
Sur un canapé en Skye des années soixante dix
Un café allongé tiédit face à la foule des actifs

Une dame bien seule habitant dans le quartier
Surement une retraitée bourgeoise qui en a trop vu
Assise entre la lumière et le fond de la salle a épié
Le quotidien minuté des fantômes au regard nu

La routine prend le dessus sur les sifflements répétés
Des machines à vapeur aux senteurs acres et corsées
La canicule a brisé l’inattention quotidienne du comptoir
Mais où est donc la p’tite vieille surveillant nos déboires?
