Childhood Secrets Poem by Hannah Cooper

Childhood Secrets

Rating: 4.5

We used to be so innocent
laughing all the time
we thought stealing hearts
was the perfect crime

but then we all grew up
learned life was not a game
these laughs would die out
things would never be the same

things change all the time
sometimes not for the good
people come and people go
i wish that you understood

You can't help me, i know
still alive but better dead
because secrets left untold
will mess with your head.
