Children - Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Little eyes
pierce your soul
Gives you meaning
to want to grow old

Their laughter comes
to welcome the day
Have so much going on
and lots to say

They give you their trust
let you see their tears
With Mom and Dad
they know no fear

Children fill your heart
with joy and love
Make you want to reach out
to give them a big hug
