Children Of The Vietnam Wall Poem by Robert G. Kimberlin Jr.

Children Of The Vietnam Wall

The Vietnam wall I pondered to see
So by the dark of Night I did go.
For mine enemy to see not
Me naked, with tear on cheek
Yet when I touched, and saw the Names
All was gained, and nothing lost
So now I care not, if to be seen
Naked with tear on cheek
For I had found the two young Soldiers
Whom at battles height
Delivered orphaned Children unto,
The Nuns Of Saigon
Through my tears, above the wall
An Angelic Glow I saw
The Nuns of Saigon in a schroud of Glory
Looking after American Children of war
Mother of Mercy remember my fallen friends
And God save the children.
