Chivalry Poem by Robert Sheridan

Chivalry

Will never pass
Has high affection
Grievance re-dresser
Serves one-on-one
Errant to the last
Changer of ill manners
Sum of all ideals
and gallant deeds
Comes elaborate
in knight’s dress
to serve fair lady
Holds on in an
age of inhumanity
Is a precious monument
It’s ideas still impress.
