Choir Of Coral Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Choir Of Coral

Rating: 5.0

with sea breeze
waves gently delight
a calling for exotic dreams

all this summer midnight
which was thousands miles distant
we had heard coral roar on silvery deep

amorous tunes are sang beautifully
and all happiness blessed this realm
dancing around the endless resonance

(dedicated to a great poet at poemhunter, Lynda Robson)

Very poetic. Instead of 'deep', 'depth'. Instead of 'sang', 'sung' (the past participle) . The last lines elevate the poem.

i jsut had a drive along the beach...two distinct shades of gray-dark on the sea, light on the sky and a dazzling summer heat!
