Choke Poem by Kayci Lamb

Choke

witnessing the start
of a piece of art
a princess loved,
but never told
who could chew,
but never swallow.
tried to turn over,
every stone.

bled herself dry,
just for a reply.
car crashing,
into doe eyes.
the only pearly white
she knows
beginning to be
her toilet bowl.

rib cage musty,
bird rusty.
all she wanted,
was to dust you off.
cough up her,
insecurities and charcoal.
binging on her doubts,
to pay the toll.
