Choo Choo Train Poem by Leaking Pen

Choo Choo Train

Choo choo choo
Train going by
Its whistle blowing
Smoke puffs rising
From its stack…
Greeting children's eyes.

Choo choo choo
Train cutting through waves
Of wheat, soy and corn
As far as the eyes can see
On a majestic canvas
Painted by Van Gogh.

Choo choo choo
Train brings happiness
From travelling boxcars
In my childhood dream
Wrapped for Christmas
Train set awakens
The love in me.

Choo choo choo
Train sounds bring hope to my orphaned ears
I freeze this magic moment in time
And hold it up high in my mind's eye should suffice
To shoo away all bad vibes
From my poem's message.

Choo choo choo
Is that the Chattanooga choo choo?
There is a party in my heart waiting
At the station when close to home
With the Andrew Sisters
And The Glenn Miller orchestra.

Choo choo choo
Train going by
Its whistle blowing
Smoke puffs rising
From its stack…
Greeting my eyes.
