Christ My Cornerstone! Poem by Gold Trybes

My story is a long one. I went through hell and the high waters in search for true love and each time it seemed I inched closer, it was always something. I just look back now and look at the several times I fell, the many heartaches I went through and now realize it was for a reason. It was for a time like this that God kept me away from the bad choices I could have made in my haste to find love and companionship. In a few days, myself and wife would be celebrating our one year anniversary. Through this last 12 months, God has been extremely good to us. All that made me cry as a person now brings me joy. God did not just give me a woman for wife, He gave me the best amongst them. He gave me a woman who has depth, who knows God, who loves God, and whose heart is as pure as white. He gave me a woman who I forever will be grateful for and a family that not only loves me wholeheartedly but goes a step further to show it through words and deeds. Now you ask me, what more can I ask for...I am grateful.
For the young folks out there reading this, my advise to you is, wait for your time. Sometimes, things may look bleak and may not look like you are getting what you want but trust me, God is always on time. He's never late. He knows the whens and whys. He knows the incapacitation of everyone even when everyone around you proves to know you more than you do. He sees the depths of our heart and even when people come in and out, shattering the peace of your heart and making you into a demon that you are not, just look up and say to him, Lord you know me, in my weakness you know me, and let Him do that which only Him can do. I tasted Him and he proved Himself to me. Friends, there is no one like God. It doesn't matter what anyone tells you, it doesn't matter who's in your corner. One person that would never leave for a second is Him, my Jehovah. I am grateful because I am who I am because of You and without You Lord God Almighty, I am NOTHING...
