Christmas Dance Poem by Edwina Reizer

Christmas Dance

Will you dance with me when it’s
Christmas Eve at night?
Will you dance with me when
The lights are shining bright?
Will you dance me underneath the mistletoe?
Will you kiss me so I will know
that not one present, not one gift
underneath my tree could ever make me feel
like this Christmas melody?

Will you dance with me when it’s
Christmas Eve this year?
Will you hold me close while the
bells are ringing clear?
Will you whisper Merry Christmas
and hold me close to you?
Will you dance with me on Christmas night?
For not one sparkle, not one glow
or the tinsel on my tree
could ever shine as bright
as when I see your eyes on me.

Will you dance with me and
Let me feel the cheer?
Will you dance with me and
let me feel you’re near?
Will you dance me underneath the mistletoe?
Will you kiss me so I will know
that not one present, not one gift
underneath my tree could ever make me feel
like this Christmas melody.
