Christmas In The Garden ~ The Magical World Of Mr Caterpillar & Friends

Christmas in the Garden

Snow is falling on the land,
The pond has frozen fast.
It seems too cold to celebrate
Though Christmas is here at last.

Look much closer, take a peek,
There’s movement on the ground.
Could that be a choir I hear?
Such a hearty, cheery sound!

Mr Cricket leads them all
Conducting with his stick,
The singers are so full of glee,
Especially Tiny Tommy Tick!

Sir Snail is dressed as Santa Claus
Singing his favourite carols.
Mr Caterpillar wriggles past
Carrying juice in barrels.

While listening to the festive songs,
Miss Spider’s in a spin.
Mr Woodlouse also scuttles along,
Seems like everyone’s joining in!

Miss Moth is fluttering higher
Up to the holly tree,
Where collecting leaves and berries
She finds Little Miss Bee.

Sir Worm joins the party
Bursting from the ground,
He’d dearly like to kiss Miss Ant
If there’s mistletoe around.

When the carols finally stop,
It’s time to feast on fabulous food!
Our garden friends pass presents,
Everyone’s in such a happy, joyful mood!
