Christmas Once More Poem by Dan Lundahl

Christmas Once More

So it's christmas once more,
Put on clothes, walk to the door,
Cast a gaze, and watch the snow,
As you'll find in the oven, cookie-dough.

So it's christmas once more,
Go wake up your parents from their snore,
It's time for family to reunite,
Give each one of them, a hug so tight.

So it's christmas once more,
It'll be better than the one before,
Tasty food, uncle's smell and grandma's sweatshirts,
Snow falling, orange sniffs and the coziness alerts.

So it's christmas once more,
What did they buy you, from the toy-store?
Dance around the tree so very eager,
Time to open presents and eat sweets so meager.

So it was christmas once more,
As everyone leave, your heart feels sore,
Watching them walk through the narrow glen,
Oh my, when will it be christmas again?
