Christmas Pageant… December 21,2008

Parents and friends brave winter’s furry
Defying unkind chilling wind and flurries
Entering a sanctuary with high lifted ceilings
A gathering wrapped in a glow of warm feelings

Children respectfully reenact the most eventful day
Centered around a manger with song and praise…
Reminding us all what Christmas is truly about…
Go tell it on the mountain… with an echoing shout

The sound of young voices… carrying a tone of purity
Ringing in the mind and heart with innocent sincerity
Rejoicing the birth of a baby Jesus… the giver of salvation
The son of our magnificent Lord…the master of creation
