Chupacabra

Under a blood red moon it waits
Sneaking silently
Feeling eyes upon its back
Waiting cautiously
Stalking its victim without sound
Moving intently
Every muscle fiber alert
Chasing death
Losing breath
Sucking blood
A victim lies, never knowing
Claws and fangs
Blood red eyes
Attacks and drains life
Its legend grows
Bodies strewn, screams
Howling on the wind
