Circle Poem by Shreya Jani

Circle

Every moment the unsaid is spoken
the stranger seen the heart broken
Every interaction fulfills the past
a reminder of the day that didn't last

Time a continuous creator of deja-vu
looking at him yet seeing you
the healer who was held at stake
peace and belief her mistake

Love was lost in karmic payback
another weight to carry in the emotional backpack
Destiny the ship on uncharted seas
guided by instincts of what it could be

Clues the desperate attempt to find it
signs that leads one to the bottomless pit
Coincidences reading between lines unwritten
the heart searching for another excuse to be smitten

Waiting the eternal dance to freedom
a smile a hand then restless boredom
The story which has no end of beginning
series of events on life's tune singing

The vast expanse of the universe is not enough
the cards in your hand to call the bluff
how can you be so sure of the unknown
existence and you so accident prone

Feeling the sensation of the cosmos within
to decipher the fake from real a line so thin
The stranger on the road crosses you and then again
the inter connectivity of your past began
