She wanted to see New York,
a city trapped in itself.
She wanted to see Paris,
a city of captured light.
She saw the towns of birth:
Belgrade and Johannesburg.
She gave birth to children in them.
The light trapped inside.

Željela je da vidi Njujork
grad zarobljenih u sebe.
Željela je da vidi Pariz
grad zarobljene svjetlosti.
Vidjela je gradove rođenja:
Beograd i Johanesburg.
U njima je rodila djecu.
Svjetlost zarobljenu u sebi.
