City Of Dusk Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

City Of Dusk

city of dusk
we
my Monsignor so often
write of dusk and things
as it:
from our humdrum civilization
we move
better a sackcloth of spirits
high
and joys
than whole centuries of drear
and fear
