Clean-Cut Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Clean-Cut

Those beautiful scissors
Belong to his wife
Although he has borrowed them
once or twice!
She must trim the bush leaves
Make the garden look nice
She must cut her blonde hair
And not with a knife...
But with clean shiny scissors
Oh, the pleasures of life.
