Cliff-Top Bride Poem by Kelly Zion

Cliff-Top Bride

Climb my cliff, My Love
can't you see me standing here
crying in the wind
can't you see me falling over
asking why Love never came?

You know you need me, how can you survive
you know I need you, how can you sleep tonight
knowing you let your sweet Cliff-Top Bride
die?

Hold me in your arms or catch my tears
from the canyon floor below
you know I'd never fall on you
unless you asked me to

Oh Baby, you're on one knee
but I'm on them both
Baby, say you love me
before I just let go

Don't just stand and watch me
Baby, I know you know
(you must know)
'cause everyday so many people just let go
what makes me stronger then them all?

The cliff-top's already proposed,
Baby, I've caught the bouquet
this is my chance at being happy
so Baby, dig me up a ring
or let me be the cliff-top's bride.
