Clock Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Clock

Rating: 5.0

Clock

I watched it tick,
It went without a glitch.
I was in awe,
With what I saw.

I saw a train,
Like thoughts in my brain.
But the thoughts moved like magic,
The seconds went by.

The seconds went by,
Then the minutes I saw,
On the long hand of the clock,
The movements I couldn't block.

The seconds turned into minutes,
The minutes into an hour,
An hour into hours,
And hours into a day.

I saw the expanse of time eternal.

I saw the expanse of time eternal. I have never imagined a clock in terms of time deconstructed so beautifully. That's amazing poem. Thanks.
