Close All The Doors

Lock 'em up tight
Pull down the shades
Turn out the light

Push them away
Too many can see
The grotesquery here
That is all me

Hide in the dark
The icy, cold cave
Curl up in a ball
And endlessly rave

Burn craters in arms
Beat the wall with my head
Never, ever ceasing
Until I am dead

Run away from the world
Need dearly to isolate
Simply cease to exist
Before it's too late

Poem of the Day

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
