Closer Poem by Clara Keiper

Closer

Rating: 5.0

He whispered something soft and warm
And wet against her throat
He took her to a place she'd never been
He even sang a song to her
With words he never wrote
She swore she'd always take him back again.

He said she was his sidekick
She should never go away.
That where she was was something he must know
She took the time to taste the reasons
That she took him back again
Took as much of him inside her
As she could before he'd go
