Cloud Closing Fast Poem by derrick foster

Cloud Closing Fast

This cloud closes fast
Another hope slips through
The future made distant

This cloud closes fats
Another storm over head
Stifling the calm

This cloud closes fast
Darkening the doorstep
Of forgotten dreams

This cloud closes fast
Filling in the blue space
Between sadness and depression

This cloud closes fast
Living behind
A shadow of rainbow

This cloud closes fast
Sparking inspiration
In form of prose

This cloud closes fast
Descending on
The heaviest of heart

This cloud closes fast
Disturbing the
Pleasant peace

This cloud closes fast
To open up
The world to new beginnings

This cloud closes fast
To present
The morning sun

I really like this piece. Each little stanza wants and tries to fill us with gloom but the knew that sun would pull through in the end. Nicely written.
