Clouds Poem by Ernesto Torres

Clouds

I lay on a building
so peaceful
so quite

The wind
blowing so lightly
calling me

The cloud
so soft
changing

From red,
all the way
to baby blue

Then it
disappear
leaving me

Please don't go
i beg
crying

Now only darkness
is left
filling me

A tear rolls
down my cheek
but wait...

There is a light
in the sky
and it brings more

So beautiful
'thank you cloud'
i whisper

For bringing
something more beautiful
than yourself

I stand up
to walk to
the edge

And look at the
Magnificent city
and breath

I am at peace
with myself
and god

I let go
and fall
so relaxed

And die
happily
