Coalville Poem by Francesca Johnson

Coalville

Rating: 2.4

One day I'll go back to Coalville
and whisper you a hello.

I'll see again those twinkling blue eyes,
no longer cold in death.

And that curved mouth
sending a flashing smile to all.

I'll tell you that I remember you
when your own children don't.......

And I'll place a rose on your grave
and bid you sleep in peace,
dear Lily.

Fran, a sad but loving poem of someone who has passed beyond the sunset. Thanks for sharing this my friend. '10' Hugs David

Unlike Sidney Bloody Shakespeare I respect that sometimes there are people who are loved and respected even though they have passed over and are no longer with us. I think this is a sensitive and loving poem. I hope future readers have the same respect. George xxx
