Cobbled Streets Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Cobbled Streets

The cobbled streets
They the paces
Accentuate:
Ah! ticking of the
Ages that pass
The times that fly
The regrets that were
The wild running of
The clock hands
These were wild
Wild, indeed:
Awhile
The cobbled streets
Romantic and patient
Receive the soles
And paces
And the time passes
With every pace
And the time passes.
