Coffee Run Poem by M.J. Lemon

Coffee Run

Rating: 5.0

You're coffee isn't perfect
fresh out of the box
We'll make it over
Almost to the stitch
1970s-grade nylon.
Weathered foam.
If it's still not perfect
It's vintage. It's not so
bad now...

If it's still not perfect It's vintage. It's not so bad now........so touching and haunting. A beautiful poem so nicely executed.

Thank you Kumarmani. Thank you so much. I discovered these words as I was reaching for my first coffee this morning.

Coffee Run Or Run On The Coffee? coffee run or run on the coffee running to get de desired coffee fix or breakfast back into de coffee stash with a few choices of instant; or a slightly more time demanding percolated which is sadly ignored in timed need for speed in the race haste to get something deadline done; evening time is relaxing time when at home in late evening enjoying a good brew all chores; through not a care in the world no worries if we have another coffee who needs to sleep all night through; Copyright © Terence George Craddock Inspired by the poem 'Coffee Run' by the poet M.J. Coffee Makes Me Feel Good coffee is my daily fix I go through coffee like models go through clothes like desert camels go through water reserves none of my coffee stock lasts never lasts long enough to be vintage; Irish coffee could be a fix coffee with Irish whiskey coffee with Irish cream as in Irish cream liqueur with cream or nutmeg to taste what a breakfast mix to make in haste to fortify soul to run marathon work race; but I admit I rarely drink Irish coffee Irish coffee is banned in Saudi lands Saudi Arabia is alcohol intolerant but I do adore a coffee fix I could drink it with rum never have an upset tum tum a Mormon I cannot be; Mormons ban alcohol and coffee Mormons even ban teetotaling tea this declaration I will now celebrate with a stemming cup of coffee because coffee gives a taste good to me coffee makes me feel good happy coffee is a buzz joy in life to me; Copyright © Terence George Craddock Insired by the poem 'Coffee Run' by the poet M.J. Terry. thanks so much. This is amazing. I'm about to start the day and have three coffees in teh kitchen. I'll really now think about which one I want to brew, - rather than jsut reaching for the first. This is a great poem. Thank you so much.

coffee is my daily fix, I go through coffee, like models go through clothes, like desert camels go through water, none of my coffee stock lasts, never lasts long enough to be vintage; Irish coffee could be a fix, coffee with Irish whiskey, coffee with Irish cream, as in Irish cream liqueur, with cream or nutmeg to taste, what a breakfast mix to make in haste, to fortify soul to run marathon work race, but I admit I rarely drink Irish coffee, Irish coffee is banned in Saudi lands, Saudi Arabia is alcohol intolerant, but I adore a coffee fix, I could drink it with rum, never have an upset tum tum, a Mormon I cannot be, Mormons ban alcohol and coffee, Mormons even ban tea, this declaration I will now celebrate, with a stemming cup of coffee, because coffee gives a taste good to me.

thank god for the Poet's Notes! and for this definition a la Google: Found poetry is a type of poetry created by taking words, phrases, and sometimes whole passages from other sources and reframing them as poetry (a literary equivalent of a collage) by making changes in spacing and lines, or by adding or deleting text, thus imparting new meaning. unfortunately the new meaning of this poem is lost on me! ha ha. foam seemed to go with some 'modern designer coffees', which i don't buy, but otherwise...i was lost, flabbergasted, befuddled, and other synonyms for confused? i shall move on in search of another. bri ;)

Well, you make actually have had an epiphany. Not too long ago I hear one barista mentioning a 'designer coffee'. What is the (caffeine) world coming to?
